This unique all FRP building was built by Jack and Coen
Builders of Palo Alto, California in 1986. Completely
prefabricated in Texas, the building was shipped to this remote
site to serve as a non-magnetic enclosure for Apple Computer's
research facilities. With all FRP structure and translucent roof
panels the building requires no metal whatsoever including
fasteners which were also FRP.
