		Holt Hinshaw Architects wanted a molded modular counter top for a restaurant bar. The material needed to be highly scratch resistant, yet moldable and light and strong enough to fabricate large pieces without requiring special handling during installation.
Bar Top	Bar Top	SOLUTION: K&A developed an extremely hard formula polymer concrete material using copper oxide aggregate (copper oxide is the abrasive used in wet or dry sandpaper). The shapes were worked out so a minimum of molds would produce a wide variety of configuration options.
