K&A Scope of Work: Design, engineering, and fabrication of FRP tiles
Project Description: From the balcony down, FRP tiles replicate the original lost terra cotta. Set as individual tiles based on the original Willis Polk architectural details, these FRP replicas are a convincing and faithful alternative to more costly and less durable terra cotta. A unique feature of this project was its attachment to a new exterior stucco surface, allowing the entire façade replacement to take place while the ground floor offices remained open for business. Color and texture to match the original are integrally molded into the FRP tiles.
